Extraction equipment lives or dies on interior finish and clean fitting welds. Swhift builds extractor vessels with a food-grade finish inside, a polished exterior, and jacketing when the process needs temperature control.
What Extractor Tanks are for
An extractor tank is a process vessel rather than a storage tank. Material goes in, solvent or carrier moves through it, and the product comes off through a controlled outlet — usually into a second vessel below. That makes the interior surface, the drain geometry and the fitting welds the parts that matter most.
We finish the inside to a food-grade standard and polish the outside, so the vessel cleans down properly and looks right in a facility that gets inspected. Fittings are hand-welded, and we build the stands and support legs as part of the same job.
Because extraction setups are rarely identical, most of these are quoted from a sketch or a P&ID rather than off a size chart. Send what you have and we will work from it.

Extractor Tanks: common questions
Do you build the stand as well as the vessel?
Yes. We regularly fabricate the frame, legs and support structure alongside the vessel so the assembly arrives as one piece of equipment rather than parts to be fitted on site.
What interior finish do you use?
A food-grade finish inside with a polish on the exterior. If you need a specific surface roughness or a sanitary interior finish called out on your specification, note it on your quote request and we will confirm what we can hold.
Can the vessel be jacketed for heating or cooling?
Insulated jackets are available, and we build heat exchange coils as well. Tell us the temperature you need to hold and how you plan to drive it, and we will quote the right approach.
Is this a pressure vessel?
That depends entirely on your process. If your extraction runs above atmospheric pressure, say so on the quote request — it changes the shell, the heads and the test requirement, and we will quote it as a pressure tank instead.
